It’s been a long time, but we’re excited to announce our first in-person/virtual hybrid program just in time for Halloween! Join us on Sunday, Oct. 25 from 1-3 p.m. for our Halloween Celebration on the library front lawn. Pick up a treat bag, take advantage of the photo opportunities, and show off your costumes with the virtual costume contest! You MUST register for the in-person event, as we will only be making enough goody bags for those who register. Online registrations will be taken through Thursday, Oct 22.
Though we will be outside, masks will be required to attend, and social distancing must be practiced. Prior to the event, you will also receive a recommended time window to arrive, similar to timed ticketing at the pumpkin patch. The virtual costume contest will take submissions through Oct. 18, and voting will take place from Oct. 18 to Oct. 24. The winners in each of the four categories (Child, Teen, Family or Group, & Pet) will be announced on social media following the event and winners will be contacted directly within 48 hours. Please use our Google form to submit your costume photos. A new form will be shared on Oct. 18 for voting!
