Unearth Your Story at the Library This Summer with Our Reading Challenge for All Ages

Our Adult Summer Reading Challenge is underway. To get started, stop by the library and pick up a challenge sheet. Complete at least 13 of the 15 challenges, then return your sheet by Friday, August 7th, and you will be entered into a drawing for one of three prizes.

We Are Looking for a New Member for the Board of Trustees!

The Board of Trustees for the Community Library of Castle Shannon is currently seeking a new member to serve on the Board. As a Trustee, you can help shape the Library’s mission and vision, champion new library programs and services, provide financial oversight and strategic guidance, and, most importantly advocate for our Library–keeping the Library strong for generations to come!

The service term of a Trustee is three years.

Experience Kits Are Available at Our Library

Our Library, along with other Allegheny County libraries are offering FREE ADMISSION for four people to a number of museums and historical sites around Pittsburgh!

Each pass can be checked out for up to a week at a time.

Library Fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse

Come out to support the library on Tuesday, June 30th from 11am-10pm at the Bridgeville location of Texas Roadhouse. 10% of sales get donated back to us!

You MUST show the flyer at the restaurant.

Funds raised are used to purchase books that the library passes out in the community.
